There’s a lot to kno about Scott!

My name is Scott and the inspiration for UKnoMe came from my own recent transitional period...more on that in a minute.

My background has almost entirely been in assisting others with every imaginable type of life decision.  I currently hold an M.A. in Organizational Leadership, I am a Certified Counselor with the AACC, I work as a Hospice Counselor and I am actively Coaching and Mentoring as well.

Fairly recently I was offered two professional opportunities outside my current occupation. It was at that time that I put to work the principles that have come to now be known as UKnoMe.

I sought out the insight of a few wise and trusted individuals and explained:

            what my current occupation was

            what I had been offered by way of new opportunities

            what I was sensing at this point in my life

            what aspirations and goals I had set for myself

Then I asked them, based upon their interaction with me both personal and professional, to speak into my life.

I did not ask for or desire their opinion on what decision I should make, and one was not provided.

Through their insights, which accounted for blind spots, realistic evaluations of my gifts and talents, thoughtful suggestions for considerations I had not thought of, and a host of other valuable information...I was able to make a decision that has provided great fulfillment and no regrets.
